The Northwest has always been home—its rain-washed forests, winding trails, and crisp mountain air shaped the way we see and experience the world. In 2017, we turned that deep connection with nature into Scents of the Northwest.

It began with a simple frustration: candles that promised the essence of nature but never delivered. They were too artificial, had too many chemicals, too far removed from the honest beauty of the outdoors we grew up in. We wanted more. We wanted a candle that smelled like standing beneath a canopy of pines after the rain, or like leaves carried on a cool autumn breeze.

So we began pouring our own. With cleaner, safer ingredients and scents true to their name, each candle became a small way to bottle the soul of the Northwest—bringing the wild, grounding calm of nature into everyday spaces.
